Refund Policy

At R&M Bindery, LLC, we take pride in delivering high-quality post-press finishing and bindery services. We understand that issues may arise, and we aim to handle refund requests fairly and transparently. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted. 1. Cancellation Policy
- Clients may cancel an order before production begins without penalty.
- If production has already started, cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of up to 30%, at R&M Bindery's discretion.
- If you need to cancel an order, please contact us immediately at support@rmbindery.com to determine whether your job is eligible for cancellation.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are only issued for errors caused by R&M Bindery.
- Client errors, including incorrect file submission, unsuitable materials, or order changes after approval, do not qualify for refunds.
- If a refund is approved, the amount refunded will not exceed the total amount already paid by the Client.
Refunds will NOT be granted for:
- Mistakes resulting from client-supplied materials (e.g., damaged, incorrect, or improperly prepared files).
- Missed deadlines due to factors outside our control, including shipping, client approvals, or rush orders.
- Damage to materials that were not detected before finishing (e.g., previously damaged or misprinted client-supplied materials).
- Client dissatisfaction with the final product when a proof was declined.
- Client dissatisfaction with the final product when all aspects stated in the approved estimate were met.

3. Claims for Defects, Damages, or Shortages
Clients must submit claims for defects, damages, or shortages in writing within 3 calendar days of receiving the finished product.
- If no claim is made within this period, the job will be considered accepted.
- By accepting the job, the Client acknowledges that R&M Bindery has fully satisfied all terms, conditions, and specifications.
How to Submit a Claim:
- Send an email to support@rmbindery.com with the following details:
- Job ID number
- Invoice Number
- Estimate Number
- Detailed description of the issue
- Photos of the affected product
- We will review your claim within 5 business days and determine an appropriate resolution.
Possible Resolutions:
- Rework of the job (if possible)
- Partial refund (if the error is verified and cannot be fixed)
- Full refund (only in cases of clear R&M Bindery errors where no resolution is feasible)
4. Proofing & Client Responsibility
- If the Client declines to request a hard-copy proof, R&M Bindery is not responsible for any quality issues.
- Clients assume full responsibility for errors that could have been identified during the proofing process.
5. Refund Processing
- If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 15 business daysfrom the date of approval.
- R&M Bindery does not offer cash refunds—all refunds are returned via the original payment method.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
6. Limitation of Liability
- R&M Bindery’s liability is limited to the total amount paid for the disputed service.
- We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- Lost profits
- Missed deadlines
- Reputational harm due to delays
